[Test] Residual Carbon Content: Micromethod (JIS K2270-2)
Measuring the amount of coke-like carbonization residue! Heating the sample to 500°C under a nitrogen atmosphere.
We would like to introduce the "Residual Carbon Content: Microscopic Method" test that we conduct. This test measures the amount of coke-like carbon residue generated when the sample is evaporated and thermally decomposed. A required volume of 30ml is needed. The sample is heated to 500°C under a nitrogen atmosphere, and the mass of the residue remaining in the container is measured. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to request this service. 【Test Details】 ■ Item Number: F123 ■ Required Volume: 30ml ■ Standard Number: JIS K2270-2 ■ Main Target Oil Types: Engine oil, automotive gear oil, industrial gear oil, machine oil, diesel (including mixed diesel), heavy oil, residual oil, FAME (fatty acid methyl ester), and other sludge and solvents. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
